I began writing this blog as a way to record my progress renovating an old Dolls House Emporium Classical dolls house which I built from a kit in the 1980's. It has now evolved into a blog about my ever increasing collection of dolls houses and the items I buy and make to put in them.

Hope you enjoy it.

Boot Sale Lilliput Lane Cottages

Sorry but haven't had much time for blogging due to the school summer holidays, setting up my new business Dainty Dishes and my husband being away with work for the past 3 weeks to Malaysia.  Today I managed to get to Thainstone car boot sale near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire for the first time since my husband went away.  It was a beautiful sunny morning but the wasps were out in force.  In between dodging the wasps I did manage to get some great things for Dainty Dishes (which I will put on my Facebook page soon) and also spotted some Lilliput Lane cottages.  The seller had some really nice ones but I decided to buy just these two as they are from the Scottish Collection and I need to be a bit more selective as I now have 45, how did that happen ;).

Lord and Lady Grey, Crystal and Lilliput Lane Parsley Cottage

Have just got back from a few days visiting family near Edinburgh and managed to finally get to Tolbooth Miniatures in Falkirk (one of only two dolls house shops in Scotland).  Bought a few items for my Edwardian tea room including Lord and Lady Grey, two tea sets and some gold cutlery.  Also got some scissors for my future beauty salon project.
Also popped into a charity shop and found these crystal items for my china hire business Dainty Dishes.
This lovely little Lilliput Lane 'Parsley Cottage' was waiting for me when I arrived back home.

It is only available when you join the Lilliput Lane Collectors Club 2012/13.
