I began writing this blog as a way to record my progress renovating an old Dolls House Emporium Classical dolls house which I built from a kit in the 1980's. It has now evolved into a blog about my ever increasing collection of dolls houses and the items I buy and make to put in them.

Hope you enjoy it.

Portrait Brooch of a Horse

Went car booting this morning and found this lovely portrait brooch of a horses head for just £1.  This is the first animal protrait brooch I have found but hope to find some more now.

Mini cake/jewellery stands

Thought you might like to see some mini cake stands I have made for a craft fair stall I have next Sunday at the Hilton Treetops Hotel in Aberdeen.
They have been made from vintage china side plates and saucers and can also be used as jewellery stands on your dressing table.

Here is a link to details of the craft fair which is held every year by the American Women's Association of Aberdeen: AWAAberdeen Craft Fair

Some small items for Lottie's Tea Room

Bought a few more small items for Lottie's Tea Room recently.  It's funny but I seem to like the smaller items best of all as they just add so much more interest to the properties.
This gorgeous little Tea Room sign was made by Mollysue Miniatures and is just perfect above the stove in Lottie's Tea Room.
This beautiful tartan parasol adds just a wee touch of Scotland to the scene.

Couldn't resist the tiny cake slice and tongs from beautifullyhandmade on Ebay.

Lottie's Tea Room looks fab now with the additional items but I am sure there is still more to find :).
